Registering for Streamline is a security step to verify your personal details against payroll information. You only need to register once and you can do it on a work computer or anywhere you have internet access.

To register for Streamline, you will need:

  • a unique 15 character registration token
  • your Person ID (also referred to as payroll number or employee number)
  • your preferred email address (work or private).

  1. Go to streamline.health.qld.gov.au on your web browser and select Register now .

  2. Enter your 15 character registration token and Person ID, and then click Register.
    • Token: your Streamline registration token will be sent to you via SMS up to 14 days after you have provided your mobile phone number on your Employee Commencement Form. Your unique registration token is refreshed every few weeks, so make sure you use the latest one you have received when registering.
    • Person ID: your Person ID (PID) is commonly referred to as your employee number or payroll number will be provided to you shortly after you commence employement. Your PID is eight characters long containing leading zeros, for example, 00123456. If you do not know your PID please contact your line manager.
  3. Enter your user account details for Streamline, and read and accept the Terms of Service.
    • Primary email: your work or private email address
    • Date of birth: your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format, which is used to verify your identity by matching it with your personal details file
    • Chose two security questions and answers
    • Password: a logon password for Streamline, which needs to be at least eight characters long and contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter and one number.
  4. Verify and activate your user account by clicking on Send email, and follow the instructions in the email to activate your account.
    Alternatively, you may use the Send SMS option which is only available if your mobile phone number is registered with payroll on your personal details file.
    Once your account has been activated, you will see a confirmation message: 'Registration successful'. Congratulations! You are now registered and can log on to Streamline using your PID or registered email address as your username, and your password.
